Chelsea's Mourinho Mocks Spurs as Will I Am Bales out of Tottenham Move

Shame. Just when Spurs thought they were about to land a goal provider to replace the departing Bale, in step Chelsea and Jose to cock up the plan.

Actually, from England's point of view, this is probably good news. From what I saw of young Townsend, he looks decidedly tasty, and it would be good to see him given an extended run in the team. He is pacey, skilful and, based on his crossing, intelligent.

So the laugh may be on Chelsea, because Spurs may have saved themselves a fortune! Let's hope so, because putting aside petty club rivalries, it would be great to see Townsend develop into the real deal.

  1. That's nice.
They mock us...I feel disdain for them because their money can buy them trophies but it can't buy them class. I think I would rather be being laughed at because of the acations of the slimiest cancer agents on the planet rather than being disdained for being so classless than no amount of success can alter it. Cheers.

  2. I saw Mourinho walk up behind a man in a game in Spain and try to gouge his face,it was a totally unprovoked attack[Chelsea standard practice].Real class Mourinho, pity you are back in this country,do us all a favour you, your nasty puppet master Abramovich and your classless fans go abroad permanently.

  3. I cant disagree with that. Willians stats did not look all that good either, I think Holtby also fits as a player that can lay on a good final ball. Me may already have depth in this area that only needs nurturing, not huge cash. I am also glad to see we may be getting Vlad in as that extra cover in the centre.

  4. spurs nust be causing abramovich a few worries........smirking jose the prize one.....the russian phone calls in desperation........simply pathetic.. when a player who is not needed is bought for a vast sum....just to stop another developing its squad....shows not only the mentality........but also a lack of honour......whatever happened to peter osgood etc...... noone delights at rich pricks

  5. Typical Chavski.......all cash and no class. Townsend could make the World Cup squad IF given game time at Spurs though.
